8 Makeup Product Reviews

Hello Reader!

I have compiled some makeup that I recently purchased and decided to do reviews on it all. These are all drugstore products, mostly purchased at Wal-Mart and Target. If you want a complete makeup collection post, please comment below. For now, here are my most recent updates to my makeup collection!

1) Essie Nail Lacquer in Butler Please (Target)- I have really liked this color for a while and finally broke down and bought it! I really love the color- it's nice and bright for SPRING!!! (which needs to come soon!)

2) NYC Nail Enamel in Skyline Blue (Target)- I was looking for a nice light blue color for my Easter Nails tutorial (which you can find here) and saw this- so I bought it! I really like the color- but you do need to apply at least 2 coats, depending on how bright you want it. I have been wearing it on my nails for 2 days, and it hasn't chipped yet, which is great for .99 cent nail polish!

3) Maybelline the Falsies Volum' Express (Wal-Mart)- I was out shopping with a friend when I bought this mascera, and I haven't liked it yet, because it clumps up a lot and I HATE clumpy mascera!!! But I have found that the more you use the mascera, the less it clumps- so I am waiting for that to happen with this stuff. But I don't think I will be buying it again. :(

 4) NYC Nail Enamel in Plaza Pumberry (Target)- I actually just bought this today so I haven't used it yet. But I tried it in the store and really like it! It is NOT as dark as it looks in the bottle.

5) Maybelline Line Stiletto Felt Tip Eye Liner (Target)- I also bought this today and used it to touch/freshen up my eyeline and I like it so far!

6) Covergirl Smoky Shadow Blast (Wal-Mart)- I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it a lot! The white is really pretty if you want to highlight, or have a bright eyeshadow kind of day! I haven't used the black side as much, but if you use it properly, it will look great! I also like to use the white for a base to smoky eye looks.

7) Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Eye Concealer (Wal-Mart)- I LOVE this product!!! I saw a few YouTube video reviews on this product and decided to go out and buy it! I do not regret it for a second! It is fantastic. It is a great eye-brightener and covers dark shadows really well!! I will be buying this again!

8) ELF Makeup Mist and Set (Target) - I have recently purchased this product and have only used it a few times, but have liked it so far! AND It was only $3!!!

I hope everyone learned something from this post and decided to go out and buy the Covergirl Eye Concealer cause it's AMAZINGGG!!! :) Enough of that! Have a great day, guys!

These are A Few of My Favorite Things

Hello Readers! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I am hoping to start being consistent... We'll see how that goes. Today I decided to show ya'll a few of my favorite things!

So this afternoon, I took a moment to do my nails (you can check out the tutorial here), check Pinterest, and have a cup of Starbucks!
Then I headed off to Bath and Body with my Starbucks to pick up a few items that were on SALE today (Sales are some of favorite things!). *Sorry this picture is a little blurry :(

If you have never tried the True Blue Spa Shea Cashmere Hand Cream- you are seriously missing out! It makes your hands sooo soft. I have tried a lot of lotion/ hand cream and this one is my favorite. Seriously, go get some! It runs at $10, but since it was on sale today, I got mine for $5 each so I picked up two! I also picked up some SPRINGY  hand soap for my bathroom! I got the Fresh Picked First Bloom Foaming Hand Soap.

Let me know what you thought about this post and if you want more of my favorite things! :)

Bye for now!

Easter Nail Tutorial

Good Afternoon Readers! :) Today I will explain how to accomplish this lovely Easter/ Spring Nail Tutorial with affordable nail polish and supplies. Without further delay, lets get started!

First, you will need these supplies:
- Acetone Nail Polish Remover
- Cotton Balls
- Light Pink/ Blue Nail Polish
- Top/ Base Coat

I got my Acetone at Kroger for about $2.

N.Y.C. Nail Colors: Skyline Blue and Polyester Pink Creme (idk if they still carry this color)

L.A. Colors Base Coat Top Coat

First you will want to clean your nails with 100% Acetone Nail Polish remover and some cotton balls. This will help to wipe off any oil that has collected on your nails (or any nail polish haha). The more oil that is on your nails, the quicker your nail polish will chip. Now your nails will be all clean and ready for polish!
Now apply a base coat of your choice and let dry!

Next apply one coat of pink to all fingers, except ring finger to accomplish this particular look. Apply the blue to your ring finger.
After just one coat, it will look like this. You may need a couple of coats, depending on the nail polish and brand.
Then apply a top coat for some added durability and shine!

 Viola!! There you have it!

Hope you enjoyed my nail tutorial- more beauty tutorials to come. Stay tuned!!!

And HAPPY EASTER!!!

New Blog

I've never started a blog before, so this is a first for me. I wanted to record My Journey through my last few months of high school and then on to College.  I really don't know exactly what I will write about yet, but I guess it will come to me... I hope that this blog brings encouragement to you as you read.

As for today, it is a beautiful day here!  For the day after Valentines, it is pretty warm. We are supposed to get some snow flurries tomorrow... what? Have a good day guys! :)
